Hey there! And, how are you?
,
My name is Nan. Thank you so much for visiting “Bloom Where You’re Planted” otherwise called Nanzilla! (That’s sooooooooo funny to me… “Nanzilla!” ” ha, ha, ha, ha, ha… I’m laughing”. )
-Be advised that this blog will indeed have my opinion. This blog does not represent a business or denomination, government entity, sports team or agent of any kind. I am not in the government protection program and Nan is my real name. I am not a spy, nor have I been hired by anyone to share any certain particular “slant” on my blog. I’m a “folk” just like you.
-
Now, don’t be confused. I have an opinion and will share it. When writing my thoughts, I do try to be reasonable about others and I do try to not encroach on their freedoms but at the same time, there are truths that I KNOW to be true and they are true to me. This is my blog so, in America, I am FREE to share them. To anyone who does not agree; that, blogger friend, is the beauty of democracy-you don’t have to agree and its just fine. Start you own blog and decent but don’t try to squelch my opinion by trying to shut me up or close me down because you don’t agree. The wonder of America is that I am FREE to say exactly what I think and am allowed to say it.
Here is what I KNOW to be truth and will share often:(If you don’t agree its okay, get your own blog)-
-Jesus Christ is Lord of All. The Bible says that one day “At the name of Jesus “every” tongue will confess that He is Lord”.
-We all live by laws of physics and spiritual laws. When we break these laws, certain things happen that cannot be reversed unless we do that particular thing that would indeed reverse the law. For example….The law of gravity…What goes up..(you’re right) must come down. The only way to reverse or change that law is to…yes, catch the item or put something under the item or…..
So… It is not God’s fault when we break his laws and things occur. For example, a lot of people are losing their homes during these bad economic times. Many will blame God and even ask Him- “Why did God let this happen?” The answer is that “someone broke God’s laws” and therefore the natural sequence of events occurred. When man break God’s laws, divorce happens, children are mistreated, people are mugged, and all because God has marvelously set up a system of laws for man to follow. They work both in man’s favor-(If you work, you eat for example) and they work in his disfavor- (If you yell at someone, that person is going to bring anger upon you because “A soft answer turns away wrath”.)
Ah yes, then there is the question, “Can God change or intervene?” The answer is emphatically “yes” because He is God however, generally, God seems to intervene over the righteous soul. For example… In Sodom and Gomorrah days, God asked his servant, Lot to find even “one” righteous person and God would save the place. So it seems that righteousness is a part of God’s “law” structure. (Hey, you’ll have to ask Him for better clarification. God will answer you the same way He does me. He is no respecter of persons and that’s my next point.)
- God is no respecter of persons. He will answer you just like he will answer me. All we both have to do is ask. “Ye have not because ye ask not”, God says. So folks, let’s just read the Bible, ask God and wait upon Him. (Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew thy strength”.)
-BUT….God will not hear your voice unless you “know” Him. The only way to know God is to believe that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. “No man cometh to the Father but by me” says Jesus. So, if a person wants God to hear their cry, that person must ask Jesus Christ to come into their heart and make them new. (”Old things are passed away, behold all things are new”).
Now this is where I part with Oprah
who recently said “”How can there be only one way to heaven or to God?” When asked by a woman in the audience, “What about Jesus?” Oprah responded, “What about Jesus? There couldn’t possibly be one way.”
Now Oprah’s point about the remote villagers who have never heard the name of Jesus is indeed a good one but as we go back to the Word of God, the scripture says that “men will dream dreams and have visions” and that the “rocks will cry out” so we cannot second guess God. His Word is the Bible and we must believe it face value and leave the villagers to Him whom he created. He is a just” God and will reward those who diligently seek Him”. God has a plan for ALL of His creation and He knows the heart of man so lets let God be God but let us follow His plan of salvation according to His Word, which is the Bible. And hey, I don’t know how a fax machine works… do you?
Let’s leave to God HIS people and be sure to “work out our own salvation” as the Bible says.
So- Truths that I know basically boil down to passages by Jesus Christ in the first century:
I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No man cometh to the Father but by me”.(Lets let God handle the remote corners of the earth and lets stick with what WE KNOW to be truths based on God’s Word.)
Lets remember too:
“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done” Rev. 22:12.
