Tenants moved out of a rental and literally took all of the aluminum from the lawn shed. Just around the corner from the rental is a scrap metal business. I’m sure they have my aluminum. So, I’m spending my time adding new siding.
To get the wood, I have been dumpster diving at a [...]

Coleus Are My Faves…
December 1st, 2009 · Comments Off
In the early spring, I took a two-door shelf out of the barn and dropped it on it’s back to create a box for a garden. The garden was a boon and so when the fall came, I had an ugly metal box in the yard.
So, I bought some coleus and boom, [...]

November 27th, 2009 · Comments Off
Some years ago , my girls and I traveled to New York City to see the Macey’s Day Thanksgiving Parade. What a pleasure it was to see all of the HUGE balloons and crowds of people.
Four things I really remember about the trip:
1. It was do very cold that we could hardly move about.
2. [...]

Before leaving home, I looked up Bernie Madoff’s address because I [...]

St Augustine- Quaint

The Nation’s oldest city is just 25 minutes from my home. Often, we ride down there and spend time in shops, and just enjoying the fun of this quaint place. St. Augustine is full of The Cross of Jesus. It has the largest cross in this area and maybe the United States. [...]

“Pull Up Your Britches, Young Man!”
May 10th, 2009 · Comments Off
My sister raised three boys. She would have never in one million years let her boys walk around with their under drawers showing. Today, we were walking in and out of little gift shops and I saw a young guy about twenty or so with his underwear showing.
“Agh!” I thought! “Get [...]

Richest Man in the World’s Gate
April 2nd, 2009 · Comments Off
When you go to the area where the richest man in the world lives, it’s very much like a rich person’s area. In the water ( of course he lives on the water!) area there are huge boats, boat houses and skiffs in the boat docks or on fancy trailers in their yards. [...]
