Hey girls… Can you imagine not having a vote? And, ha! There are now more women than men voting, I hear, so what’s with that? Those boys were doing all they could to keep us ole’ gals down but NO…. we rose up and finally had a convention of our own… We used the Constitution which said “all are created equal” to fight our way to the top.
The moral of this story is that when you see injustice then you must not just wring your hands and bemoan the situation. You must use the facts to fight injustice. Do not always just accept what others have for you because sometimes what others have for you is not in your best interest.
Had those early pioneers just accepted that women don’t vote, then we would still not be able to show our creative side in so many ways.
We gals don’t want to take the world over, we just want to be able to have a say.
