These sunglasses are from Dolce and Gabanna. Some of them are $315. a pair! Are you kidding? What in the world are they made of? Who can afford $315. sunglasses except for the 1% top business owners or movie stars! “The folks” probably buy them trying to impress others? “Wow” was all I could say when I saw the price tag! Funny thing though- None were on sale!
And, who is Dolce? Gabanna?
And how are their lives? Are they examples of goodness and honor to the world? I have no idea but I do wonder.
I went with a friend to Abercrombie and Fitch. The moment I stepped into that place, I realized I was way out of league. T-shirts were $29. ON SALE! “Oh! My! Goodness!”. “Are you kidding?” was all I could say, except, “Let’s get out of here!”. Plus, the photographs on the walls and bags were very close to porn it seems. Now, I did not say they WERE. I said “very close” and that’s true. The very young men were with no shirts and their pants were so low a mind would race wondering just how close to the cover-up the photographer got! The very young girls on the walls showed “all but” the family jewels. So, “Oh, dear!” was all I could say!
Walmart was a- buz with sales. Mostly the Christmas stuff could be seen flying off the shelves. A lot of gift packages like perfume and gift cheeses were on sale. The gift cards were gone. No sale there!
Clocks, which I absolutely LOVE were not on sale. “Awe!” but I looked anyhow!
Cute little bird cages and the like were offered at 50%.
Cloth and bolts of fabrics were rummaged through. I wish I could sew!
All-in-all it was a good day. There were a lot of sales. I didn’t buy anything. I’m saving for my trip to Washington but it was fun to just look.
