There are many great things about the area in which I live. Here are only a few of them:

The long and country road- The area in which I live has great history. Both roads that link to my home have significance. One was name after a doctor. The other, after a historic leader from the early days of Florida.
The area has great woods-I can visualize the Indians that once romped

through this area. Just down the road from where I am there was once an Indian fight and massacre. It was a sad situation for both the Indian tribes in the area and the Europeans who tried to take the land.

Signs that tell a story - When we moved down this road, the neighbor told us that they secured the road. They had put signs up and down the road that discouraged visitors. It still discourages visitors. That’s good. The guy who put the signs up means business too.

Slow Down- After we had lived here for a while, we apparently upset the neighbors flying down the road. To be polite about it, one of the neighbors put up signs that reminded folks to “go slow”…. 10 mph. Are you kidding? I do try though!

Birds are Everywhere- This area is a birdzilla area! No kidding! Yesterday, I noticed a babies nest so here’s a look-see. I know you’re going to say “awe!”.
