As a school teacher, I very often am forced to say something like “Don’t be confused, you are either doing as I have asked, or you’re not. There is no gray area here”. So it is in the spiritual world. We are either doing as God asks of us… or we’re not. Having God’s spirit in us confirms this for us. Here are a few thoughts to consider:
If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. i Peter 4: 14
“We glory in tribulation also, knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience: and experience, hop: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”. Ro 3:3-5.
We are heirs of God , and joint-heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together” Ro 8: 17.
