Macey’s Day Thanksgiving Parade
Some years ago , my girls and I traveled to New York City to see the Macey’s Day Thanksgiving Parade. What a pleasure it was to see all of the HUGE balloons and crowds of people.
Four things I really remember about the trip:
1. It was do very cold that we could hardly move about.
2. The crowds were so thick that we could hardly see things until the huge balloon would be over your head.
3. We had a hard time finding a place to eat Thanksgiving Dinner and as a mother, I was so worried about that. I did not want to ruin the lives of my children not having them in a stable environment for Thanksgiving. We FINALLY found a diner that served the “traditional Thanksgiving Dinner”.
4. It was a great memory together with my family.
