I’m sure that many people watched the incredible Olympics Ceremony put on by the Chinese. It showed their creativity, and grandeur as only China can. It was hardly describable! I’m happy for the Chinese people and now, I ‘m praying they will be able to work towards freedom for their people.
When I was in China some years ago, we were not permitted to share any faith in Christ to anyone as they do not allow Christian worship. It is known that as result, there are underground churches. There are also state-sanctioned churches but locals cannot attend.
A person’s faith in God cannot be squelched if they really believe. When God lives in the heart of man, there is no way in the world to tell a person not to share all that He is. Anyhow. I’m praying that this will allow many to be able to open their hearts toward faith in the “One and Only”.
It is my understanding that the President will attend church on Sunday as the Chinese allow state-run church worship but to get in, a person must have a passport so the locals and nationals cannot attend those churches.Check out some of the White House photos taken by Eric Draper. They are grand.
