This morning, I again refer to Bill Gothard regarding some questions that I read about on his website . He asked the following questions:
1. Who is your best friend? (What qualities attract you?)
2. What is your greatest wish? (Do you expect to achieve it?)
3. Do you fear what people think of you? Are there other fears?
4. What is your strongest temptation? Are you overcoming?
5. What would you like to change in our family or in me?
It appears that he was talking to fathers and mothers and how these are questions we should ask our children but as I read these, I can see how we should even ask these questions of ourselves. If we would ask ourselves, we could then get to the nitty gritty about how we respond to things ourselves.
In the end, God has a plan for our lives. We should be searching daily for HIS work in our lives. We should see that our response to every day events tells of our trust in God.
