Our safety patrol group took a motorcoach to Washington, DC this past week. It took about fourteen hours to get there. A lot of people think “oh, dear! That’s too long a ride with a bunch of kids” but actually, it was great.
The kids were just fine. Many brought their ipods and other hand-held play toys and along with that, we watched movies and stopped along the way.
Actually, it was a great trip and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to see Washington, Dc . Just get you a group, call someone from a bus company and go.
